We woke up at 8:00 AM and we both were not feeling so well. We went downstairs for breakfast and ended up leaving the hotel at 10:30 AM. Hannah had class today so Al, Jeffrey and I hung out for the day.

Allison and Jeffrey grabbed a coffee and then we took a cab to see the two Antoni Gaudi buildings in town.

We then cabbed over to Park Guell. This was a park that Gaudi designed and is a public park system composed of gardens and architectural elements located on Carmel Hill. We had an issue finding the entrance and ended up walking to the top of the hill before realizing we were in the wrong place. We finally got into the park and walked around to look at the interesting structures that Gaudi designed.
We were in the park for a while and then decided to move along and eat lunch. Jeffrey pulled up a local restaurant he found on Yelp. It was a small, packed place and we waited about 20 minutes before being seated. I ended up having a chickpea soup, meat pasta and a beer. The menu was tough for Al and she ended up ordering a plate of boiled Cauliflower. We then grabbed a cab and went to Tibidabo Amusement Park. At this place, we took a funicular to the top of the mountain where they setup a small amusement park with a Ferris wheel along with a Church. There were great views of Barcelona from the top of the mountain.
We walked around and took some pictures but we didn’t have much time since we had to catch the last funicular down the mountain before it shut down. When we got to the bottom, we grabbed a cab and went back to the hotel around 5:15 PM. We hung out in the room and relaxed until we left for dinner at 8:15 PM. We ended up going to a nicer restaurant. The table started out with a couple of salads to split and then Hannah and I shared a nice fresh snapper dinner prepared Catalunian style. After dinner, we went back to Hannah’s place to pick up some clothes she wanted us to take home with us. We stayed a little bit and then grabbed a cab back to the hotel and arrived around 11:15 PM. Another long day.
